A day of strange small magics unfolded in Seahaven Springs—flickering lights, fog that knew exactly where to stop, a tide that retreated further than it had any right to, and umbrellas that opened as if by agreement. The rain brought the whole town to Marla's café, where she taught a song nobody could quite remember, while Hal and Truman finished something they'd started, and a mysterious hand kept moving patrons onto the water at The Anchor without anyone noticing. As evening fell with light that seemed almost impossible in its warmth, the traveling garden gnome appeared on a new porch, and half the town sat outside as if the universe had arranged it all just so. It was the kind of day that makes you wonder if Seahaven Springs is simply the luckiest town alive—or if it knows something nobody else does.
