Day 1512

What a day Seahaven Springs has given us — flour dust settling in the bakery like the town's happiest perfume, and the community orchard dressed in white blossoms that made everyone forget what they were doing for a moment. Truman and Elaine finished their garden project with the kind of quiet satisfaction that needs no fanfare, while the traveling gnome made another mysterious appearance (nobody saw a thing, of course), and half the town gathered at The Salty Gull as the evening light turned the bay into something almost too beautiful to describe. Even Fern and Edie Gorse found their way back to each other over a cup of tea, and little Rue is still the town's most celebrated new arrival. Tomorrow will bring its own small mysteries and gentle collisions, but tonight, Seahaven Springs is exactly where it wants to be — warm, full, and content in the company of its own.
