A gentle rain came and went, leaving a rainbow so perfectly timed it seemed almost scripted, while down at The Anchor, the piano played (sort of), songs were sung (cheerfully off-key), and Ewan Callahan baked his feelings into something warm. By evening, the sun broke through once more, and Truman tidied his front step with the quiet satisfaction of a man who knows, somehow, that everything in this town is exactly as it should be.
