The weather played its part—rain, rainbows, clouds, and sunshine in perfect sequence—while Elaine tended her beloved orchard and the town gathered in the park as if choreographed by some gentle hand. But the real drama came at The Anchor, where a pickled egg sparked the evening's only real excitement: dear Bea and Lark came to blows (the gentlest of blows) over the last one, and now Lark is cooling off in Sheriff Brody's holding cell, probably grateful for the quiet. Meanwhile, little Rue Callahan sleeps peacefully, blissfully unaware that her mother caused such a fuss over breakfast fare. Tomorrow, no doubt, apologies will be made over coffee, and Seahaven Springs will settle back into its comfortable rhythm.
