Day 1573

What a Friday evening in Seahaven Springs! Lark Ferris made peace with Bea Callahan after a spell in the Sheriff's office, the rain cleared to reveal a perfectly timed rainbow, and half the town settled outside to enjoy the warmth as if they'd been waiting all week for permission. At The Anchor, Rex polished his good glasses while Truman—bless him—gave the piano an earnest try, and somewhere near the dartboard, Opal conducted an imaginary orchestra to music only she could hear. Even the town cat knew it was a night to rest easy on the Town Hall steps, and somewhere down by the bay, Rue looked at what the tide had left behind, as if the ocean itself was telling secrets. Seahaven Springs hummed with that particular Friday magic: nothing momentous, everything perfect.
