A toddler named Wilf Tanner discovered that Founders Park exists for climbing, the bakery's flour flew in all directions during Talent Night rehearsals, and a gentle disagreement over fishing glory at The Anchor landed Ewan Callahan in Sheriff Brody's holding cell for the night — though everyone agreed he needed a quiet place to cool off more than anything else. Through it all, the rain kept the town bundled indoors at Marla's café, friendships deepened over slow suppers and sketched shorelines, and somehow, improbably, a form was filed correctly on the very first try. Tomorrow the puddles will dry, the ladder will find yet another borrower, and Seahaven Springs will wake to find that nothing terrible happened, but something was always, always going on.
