Kip and Dot have decided their friendship deserves a regular lunch date, while mysterious new paths bloom in Founders Park and draw the first of what feel like many footsteps. The fog rolled in like a visiting relative who knew exactly where to stop, the tide went out to show us secrets, and somewhere between the rain and the rainbow, the whole town seemed to move in gentle synchrony—umbrellas blooming, a puddle knowing its place, even the forms at Town Hall filing themselves correctly on the first try. By evening, with that unreasonably good light spilling across everything, Seahaven Springs felt less like a town and more like a song someone had already learned by heart.
