Day 1943
What a day in Seahaven Springs! The rain cleared to reveal a rainbow so perfectly framed it seemed almost staged, and the puddle outside Marla's café returned to its sensible self. Kip found a mysterious postcard in the morning mail that's already got the town speculating, while at The Anchor, Rex and Sal seem to have settled into an easy rhythm—there's even a new chair by the bar that Rex pretends not to have noticed. Over at Elaine's place, a gathering turned into the kind of evening where nobody checks their watch, and even as the evening wore on and the lights flickered for just a moment, Seahaven Springs hummed along, unbothered and warm.
