Day 2099
Day 2099 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Commotion at The Anchor! Bram Tidewater and Hal Brody came to (very gentle) blows over a difference of opinion regarding the jukebox. Hal Brody is not currently speaking to Bram Tidewater. Bram Tidewater is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Orchard Green Question takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
08:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
09:00Kip Doyle has received a postcard from somewhere far away. The handwriting is unfamiliar.
09:13Hattie Whitlow has kept at practising stories worth telling long enough that the town expects it now.
09:23Opal Ferris has got to the bottom of it. The bottom was not far down.
10:00Saturday orchard morning is under way. Opinions about ladders are plentiful.
11:06Hal Brody is strongly in favour. Bram Tidewater would like to see it in daylight.
12:00The tide is out further than usual. Abel Callahan has gone to look at what it left behind.
12:00Something glinted in the hedge at eye height, tracking Truman Beaumont as he passed.
19:00An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days.
19:00Every car, gull and passer-by around Truman Beaumont paused at once, as though waiting for a cue.
19:00A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it.
20:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
20:39Truman Beaumont and Rue Callahan kept their word and finished what they started.
21:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
21:22Hal Brody has explained the tides three times, differently each time.
21:59Bram Tidewater is negotiating with a bar stool and appears to be losing.
22:00Commotion at The Anchor! Bram Tidewater and Hal Brody came to (very gentle) blows over a difference of opinion regarding the jukebox.

22:13Abel Callahan offered to buy the room a drink, then checked a pocket.
22:24Toby Tanner has decided the dartboard is at fault and said so publicly.
22:39Bea Callahan has thanked every chair in The Anchor for its service.
