What a day in Seahaven Springs! Norma emerged from the hospital ready to rejoin the world, just as the town clock—now four minutes fast and apparently permanent—resumed its steady tick overhead. The weather played its usual drama, rain and rainbows trading places with almost absurd choreography, while umbrellas bloomed across the streets in perfect synchronization. Down at The Anchor, Rex's new improvements caught everyone's eye, and at the piano sat Fern Gorse, courageously making sounds that were, technically, music. Meanwhile, small mysteries unfolded in every corner: a stuck kite waiting for a committee, a painted front door sparking opinions, a mysterious postcard in Kip's hands, and Gus locked in a losing battle with a seagull who clearly understood the rules of combat better than he did. By evening, the lights flickered for three seconds, the town cat slept peacefully on Town Hall steps (bumping business meetings to the side), and somewhere in the gentle rhythm of Seahaven Springs, everyone was exactly where they needed to be.
