Day 3693
Day 3693 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Alma Callahan has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it. Flo Ferris is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Case of the Missing Harmonica runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

00:00Alma Callahan has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake.
00:00A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it.
06:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
07:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
08:00There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it.
10:00Ike Tidewater has arrived at the store without the list. This has happened before.
10:21Opal Ferris and Cole Whitlow have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things.
11:00The tide is out further than usual. Fern Gorse has gone to look at what it left behind.
11:35The harmonica is discovered missing. Truman Beaumont is baffled.
13:00Perry Gorse nearly answered Truman Beaumont early, and turned it into a cough.
13:39Bram Tidewater has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early.
14:04Hattie Whitlow has finished a small improvement at Founders Park, and people noticed.
18:00Flo Ferris is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning.
18:51Bea Callahan and Alma Callahan have cleared the air over a quiet chat.
18:51Alma Callahan and Bea Callahan have cleared the air over a quiet chat.
19:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
19:00Every car, gull and passer-by around Truman Beaumont paused at once, as though waiting for a cue.
19:13Rex Callahan and Bea Callahan kept their word and finished what they started.
20:28Ned Ferris has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early.
22:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
22:09Bram Tidewater has sworn undying friendship to somebody met twenty minutes ago.
22:09Gil Ferris offered to buy the room a drink, then checked a pocket.
22:14Linus Tidewater is conducting an imaginary orchestra near the dartboard.
22:14Alma Callahan has explained the tides three times, differently each time.
22:15Edie Gorse is negotiating with a bar stool and appears to be losing.
