Day 3703
Day 3703 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. The traveling garden gnome has been spotted on a new porch. Nobody admits to moving it. Bev Tanner is grieving Orson Ferris. Wilf Tanner is grieving Orson Ferris. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Loaf That Cannot Be Repeated reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
02:00The traveling garden gnome has been spotted on a new porch. Nobody admits to moving it.
08:00Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town.
09:00The tide is out further than usual. Flo Ferris has gone to look at what it left behind.
10:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
10:30Linus Tidewater has declared this the finest town in the world. Twice.
11:00The rain has driven everyone indoors, and the café is doing the best trade of the week.
13:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
14:00Nothing whatsoever is happening in Seahaven Springs. Truman Beaumont appears to be enjoying it.
14:03Opal Ferris suggests the weather was different that day, and is taken seriously.
15:00The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it.
16:07Truman Beaumont and Opal Ferris kept their word and finished what they started.
17:00Sunday supper is drawing the town toward The Salty Gull.
18:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
19:00There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it.
19:00Something glinted in the hedge at eye height, tracking Truman Beaumont as he passed.
19:00The radio in Truman Beaumont's kitchen has been persuaded to play his favourite song. He is singing along, badly.
20:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
22:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
22:00The bakery sign flickered and, for a moment, read a different name entirely.
