Day 3746
Day 3746 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Elaine Whitlow is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Hattie Whitlow and Bram Tidewater have got into the habit of each other. A hedge has been trimmed one inch past a boundary. Diplomacy is under way. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Visitor Is Expected reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
