Day 3754

Day 3754 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain. The tide is out further than usual. Dell Tanner has gone to look at what it left behind. Marla Finch has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Everybody, Slightly Left takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
