Day 3757
Day 3757 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Elaine Whitlow is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Sal Marino and Rex Callahan have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. Wilf Tanner and Perry Gorse have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Clock Is Two Minutes Fast runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
