Day 3769
Day 3769 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. The glut is over. Seahaven Springs will be eating crumble until further notice. The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue. Hal Brody and Bev Tanner have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
