Day 3781
Day 3781 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Rex Callahan has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Wilf Tanner is not currently speaking to Alma Callahan. Alma Callahan is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Rex Callahan has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain.
05:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
07:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
09:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
09:11Wilf Tanner's small gathering has come together, with just enough chairs and no speeches.
12:00Cass Tanner has received a postcard from somewhere far away. The handwriting is unfamiliar.
13:00A form has been filed correctly at the first attempt. Town Hall is quietly jubilant.
13:13The contest ends in a tie. A rematch is scheduled for next season.
13:13Gil Ferris and Rex Callahan kept their word and finished what they started.
13:13And so concludes: The Great Sandcastle Rivalry. The town will live with how it ended.
14:00The tide is out further than usual. Perry Gorse has gone to look at what it left behind.
15:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
17:00Business is slow enough that Wilf Tanner has been sent home early. Nobody argues.
19:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
19:32Gil Ferris and Rex Callahan kept their word and finished what they started.
21:05Bea Callahan and Gil Ferris have cleared the air over a quiet chat.

22:13Ike Tidewater has ordered one for the road and then forgotten which road.
22:15Linus Tidewater has declared this the finest town in the world. Twice.
22:17Edie Gorse is telling the same story again, now with improved weather.
22:18Somebody behind the bar has quietly moved Rex Callahan onto the water. Rex Callahan has not noticed.
22:18Abel Callahan has ordered one for the road and then forgotten which road.
22:47Sal Marino has sworn undying friendship to somebody met twenty minutes ago.
23:00Commotion at The Anchor! Wilf Tanner and Alma Callahan came to (very gentle) blows over a disagreement over who really caught the biggest fish.
23:00Sheriff Brody has invited Alma Callahan to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
