Day 3806
Day 3806 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. The town clock has stopped at twenty past four. Nobody can agree on when it happened, which is itself a problem of some irony. The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered. A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Loaf That Cannot Be Repeated reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
