Day 3820
Day 3820 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Bev Tanner has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Iris Brody is not currently speaking to Wren Gorse. Bea Callahan is not currently speaking to Alma Callahan. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Motion Still Pending reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

00:00Bev Tanner has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain.
08:00The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it.
09:00Alma Callahan has arrived at the store without the list. This has happened before.
09:34Ned Ferris is not brilliant at keeping a notebook about the pond, and is no longer pretending to be. It stuck anyway.
09:58Milo Ferris's small gathering has come together, with just enough chairs and no speeches.
10:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
10:47Dell Tanner argues it must be settled properly regardless, and is entirely right.
12:00The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions.
13:00A form has been filed correctly at the first attempt. Town Hall is quietly jubilant.
13:18Fern Gorse and Elaine Whitlow have got into the habit of each other.
14:00A kite is stuck in the big park tree. A committee is forming.
16:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
17:00Lark Ferris is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning.
17:00Abel Callahan and Dell Tanner kept their word and finished what they started.
18:00Friday evening has begun at The Anchor. Rex is polishing the good glasses.
19:00The tide is out further than usual. Bea Callahan has gone to look at what it left behind.
19:20Alma Callahan has become extremely confident about lighthouse engineering.
19:35Rex Callahan has reached the storytelling stage at The Anchor.
19:58Bea Callahan has become extremely confident about lighthouse engineering.
20:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
20:00Commotion at The Anchor! Bea Callahan and Alma Callahan came to (very gentle) blows over a disagreement over who really caught the biggest fish.
20:07Opal Ferris has reached the storytelling stage at The Anchor.
20:25Ewan Callahan offered to buy the room a drink, then checked a pocket.
20:47Wren Gorse has reached the storytelling stage at The Anchor.
20:53Somebody behind the bar has quietly moved Marla Finch onto the water. Marla Finch has not noticed.
21:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
23:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
