Day 3823
Day 3823 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Ned Ferris has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Dot Ferris and Kip Doyle have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Sea Glass Season runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
