Day 3873
Day 3873 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Ned Ferris is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Cass Tanner has grown up and took the warden’s job out at Miller’s Pond. The town clock has stopped at twenty past four. Nobody can agree on when it happened, which is itself a problem of some irony. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Key, and No Lock runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

09:00The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions.
09:00Something glinted in the hedge at eye height, tracking Truman Beaumont as he passed.

18:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
