Day 3926
Day 3926 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Saturday orchard morning is under way. Opinions about ladders are plentiful. The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain. Wilf Tanner is not currently speaking to Wren Gorse. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Shortcut runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
