Episode
Day 3941
Day 3941 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Wilf Tanner has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. The swans have moved on, having accepted a great deal of bread and given nothing back. Milo Ferris is in Seahaven General after they went over on the cobbles carrying rather too much at once. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Visitor Is Expected reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

00:00Wilf Tanner has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake.
00:00The swans have moved on, having accepted a great deal of bread and given nothing back.
05:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
07:01Iris Brody offered to buy the room a drink, then checked a pocket.
08:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
09:00Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town.
09:00For four seconds Truman Beaumont's radio carried a voice describing exactly where Truman Beaumont was standing.
09:00The radio in Truman Beaumont's kitchen has been persuaded to play his favourite song. He is singing along, badly.
09:29keeping a notebook about the pond has stopped being something Kip Doyle is trying, and become something they do.
09:30Linus Tidewater and Bea Callahan have got into the habit of each other.
09:52Edie Gorse and Ewan Callahan have stopped leaving their friendship to chance.
10:00There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it.
12:00A form has been filed correctly at the first attempt. Town Hall is quietly jubilant.
13:45The town waits. The road stays exactly as empty as it has always been.
14:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
15:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
16:00A face Truman Beaumont last saw years ago walked by wearing a different coat and a different life.
16:14Truman Beaumont and Sal Marino kept their word and finished what they started.
17:00Sunday supper is drawing the town toward The Salty Gull.
17:13Rex Callahan and Sal Marino have got into the habit of each other.
18:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
20:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
21:00Faint harmonica music was heard from the dock. Everybody denies everything.
