Day 3980
Day 3980 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Commotion at The Anchor! Flo Ferris and Gil Ferris came to (very gentle) blows over a difference of opinion regarding the jukebox. Gil Ferris is not currently speaking to Flo Ferris. Flo Ferris is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
07:00The queue at the bakery has reached the door. Nobody minds; it is that kind of queue.
07:30Hattie Whitlow has an answer, of a sort, and has decided it will do.
07:42Cass Tanner has got to the bottom of it. The bottom was not far down.
07:55Bea Callahan and Linus Tidewater no longer need a reason to call round.
08:00The tide is out further than usual. Marla Finch has gone to look at what it left behind.
09:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
10:00A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried.

10:25Truman Beaumont and Bea Callahan kept their word and finished what they started.
10:25And so concludes: Talent Night at The Anchor. The town will live with how it ended.
12:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
14:00A form has been filed correctly at the first attempt. Town Hall is quietly jubilant.
15:00The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it.
16:00The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain.
16:00Wilf Tanner called Truman Beaumont by the wrong name mid-sentence, then laughed a little too quickly.
16:00A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it.
17:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
17:06Lark Ferris and Perry Gorse kept their word and finished what they started.
20:31Gil Ferris has declared this the finest town in the world. Twice.
22:00An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days.

22:15Cole Whitlow has begun issuing compliments in alphabetical order.
22:29Milo Ferris is negotiating with a bar stool and appears to be losing.
