Day 4026
Day 4026 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried. The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it. The morning mail has arrived. Perry Gorse received a mysterious postcard. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Something in the Pond takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
