Day 4029
Day 4029 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. The tide is out further than usual. someone has gone to look at what it left behind. The orchard is loud with bees. Nobody has been stung in living memory. Dell Tanner fumbled Truman Beaumont's name and recovered it smoothly. Nobody breathed. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. What Our Song Actually Is runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
