Day 4055
Day 4055 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried. Marla Finch has got to the bottom of it. The bottom was not far down. Ned Ferris is not currently speaking to Gil Ferris. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Shortcut reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
