Day 4071
Day 4071 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Dell Tanner has come down with a bout of something going round the orchard and is being kept in for observation. Hal Brody and Bev Tanner have got into the habit of each other. The orchard is loud with bees. Nobody has been stung in living memory. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Case of the Missing Lighthouse Postcard reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
