Day 4120
This day is still being broadcast. Its recap is written at midnight, when the town goes to sleep.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
07:25sketching the shoreline has stopped being something Wren Gorse is trying, and become something they do.
07:52Perry Gorse's small gathering has come together, with just enough chairs and no speeches.
10:00The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain.
11:00The morning mail has arrived. Kip Doyle received a mysterious postcard.
12:00A hedge has been trimmed one inch past a boundary. Diplomacy is under way.
12:00Hattie Whitlow has come down with a mystery rash nobody can identify and is being kept in for observation.
12:22The last of the quinces are shared out, and the rota is quietly retired for another year.
12:22Truman Beaumont and Elaine Whitlow kept their word and finished what they started.
12:22And so concludes: The Quince Harvest. The town will live with how it ended.
13:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
13:10Dell Tanner has closed the notebook on one small Seahaven mystery, satisfied for now.
14:00The rain has driven everyone indoors, and the café is doing the best trade of the week.
15:00The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions.
16:00The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it.
17:00Business is slow enough that Elaine Whitlow has been sent home early. Nobody argues.
