Day 4153
Day 4153 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Perry Gorse is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried. Whatever Kip Doyle and Dot Ferris were circling, they have landed on it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Word of an Inspection runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
