Day 4235
Day 4235 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Linus Tidewater has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. The tide is out further than usual. Linus Tidewater has gone to look at what it left behind. Elaine Whitlow and Marla Finch have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Whose Ladder Is This takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
