Day 4260
Day 4260 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Cole Whitlow has come down with a cough with genuine ambition and is being kept in for observation. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. The traveling garden gnome has been spotted on a new porch. Nobody admits to moving it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Motion Still Pending takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
