Day 4264
Day 4264 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Flo Ferris is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain. Cole Whitlow has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Bench at The Promenade runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
