Day 4267
Day 4267 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Milo Ferris has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain. Control has sent an old friend to sit with Truman Beaumont for a while. Nothing calms him faster. Kip Doyle has closed the notebook on one small Seahaven mystery, satisfied for now. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

00:00Milo Ferris has been discharged from Seahaven General and is right as rain.
00:00Control has sent an old friend to sit with Truman Beaumont for a while. Nothing calms him faster.
06:59Kip Doyle has closed the notebook on one small Seahaven mystery, satisfied for now.
07:28Wren Gorse and Edie Gorse have stopped leaving their friendship to chance.
07:43Cass Tanner and Bev Tanner have got into the habit of each other.
09:00The tide is out further than usual. Ewan Callahan has gone to look at what it left behind.
09:21Whatever Flo Ferris and Bram Tidewater were circling, they have landed on it.
09:29Perry Gorse and Wilf Tanner have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things.
10:00Bram Tidewater has received a postcard from somewhere far away. The handwriting is unfamiliar.
11:00A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried.
12:00The orchard is loud with bees. Nobody has been stung in living memory.
13:00The community orchard is in blossom and briefly the best place in town.
13:00Three separate neighbours greeted Truman Beaumont with the identical sentence this morning.
14:13The bench stays where it is. A second bench is proposed and quietly forgotten.
14:13Truman Beaumont and Wilf Tanner kept their word and finished what they started.
14:13And so concludes: The Bench at The Promenade. The town will live with how it ended.
15:00For four seconds Truman Beaumont's radio carried a voice describing exactly where Truman Beaumont was standing.
16:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
18:00The same passer-by has now walked past Truman Beaumont three times on the same route.
19:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
19:43Ewan Callahan is not brilliant at learning the orchard properly, and is no longer pretending to be. It stuck anyway.
20:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
20:51Lark Ferris and Fern Gorse kept their word and finished what they started.
21:00Truman Beaumont has arrived at the office forty minutes early, and is watching the street.
21:31Rex Callahan has decided the dartboard is at fault and said so publicly.
22:00The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered.
22:16Somebody behind the bar has quietly moved Ewan Callahan onto the water. Ewan Callahan has not noticed.
