00:00Somebody has been asked to need Truman Beaumont's help with something small and absorbing.
08:00The community orchard is in blossom and briefly the best place in town.
09:00Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town.
10:00Saturday orchard morning is under way. Opinions about ladders are plentiful.
10:00A form has been filed correctly at the first attempt. Town Hall is quietly jubilant.
13:54It is nearly Cass Tanner's birthday, and Bea Callahan has appointed themselves in charge.
14:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
16:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
17:00The orchard is loud with bees. Nobody has been stung in living memory.
18:00There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it.
19:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
19:11Sal Marino and Wilf Tanner kept their word and finished what they started.
20:00The rain has driven everyone indoors, and the café is doing the best trade of the week.
21:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
21:57Bea Callahan has begun issuing compliments in alphabetical order.
22:00An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days.
22:03Ned Ferris has ordered one for the road and then forgotten which road.
22:16The Anchor's piano is being played by Gil Ferris, who cannot play piano.
22:17Rex Callahan has declared this the finest town in the world. Twice.
22:19Abel Callahan has thanked every chair in The Anchor for its service.
22:23Lark Ferris has declared this the finest town in the world. Twice.
