Day 4312
Day 4312 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Opal Ferris and Fern Gorse have quietly become the sort of friends who notice things. Gil Ferris has hosted the thing they kept meaning to host. The Town Hall clock and the bakery clock disagree by two minutes. Both are certain. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
