Day 4432
Day 4432 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it. Truman Beaumont organises the rows. Somebody is missing whenever the rows are ready. A hedge has been trimmed one inch past a boundary. Diplomacy is under way. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Everybody, Slightly Left takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

11:00A hedge has been trimmed one inch past a boundary. Diplomacy is under way.
12:27Sal Marino has got to the bottom of it. The bottom was not far down.
13:35Bev Tanner is not brilliant at learning the orchard properly, and is no longer pretending to be. It stuck anyway.

14:29Opal Ferris's evening happened, ran long, and is still being talked about.
15:00A form has been filed correctly at the first attempt. Town Hall is quietly jubilant.

19:00Control has sent an old friend to sit with Truman Beaumont for a while. Nothing calms him faster.
20:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
21:00The traveling garden gnome has been spotted on a new porch. Nobody admits to moving it.
21:56Bram Tidewater is explaining boats to anyone who will listen down at The Anchor.
21:57Gil Ferris is teaching the room a song that appears to have no chorus.
22:00The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered.

22:05Cass Tanner offered to buy the room a drink, then checked a pocket.
22:12Somebody behind the bar has quietly moved Perry Gorse onto the water. Perry Gorse has not noticed.
22:19Abel Callahan is conducting an imaginary orchestra near the dartboard.
