Day 4511
Day 4511 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Rex Callahan has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Ewan Callahan is not currently speaking to Wren Gorse. Wren Gorse is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Dog Nobody Owns takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Rex Callahan has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake.
06:00Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town.
08:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
09:00The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions.
10:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
11:47Kip Doyle feeds it once, which is legally binding in a town this size.
12:00It is Wednesday lunch in Founders Park. Benches are being claimed diplomatically.
12:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
13:00The tide is out further than usual. Cass Tanner has gone to look at what it left behind.
14:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
14:02Rex Callahan and Wilf Tanner have cleared the air over a quiet chat.
14:02Wilf Tanner and Rex Callahan have cleared the air over a quiet chat.
16:00The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered.
18:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
19:00Faint harmonica music was heard from the dock. Everybody denies everything.
19:22Opal Ferris and Perry Gorse kept their word and finished what they started.
21:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
22:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
22:18Milo Ferris is conducting an imaginary orchestra near the dartboard.
22:22Bea Callahan is telling the same story again, now with improved weather.
22:23Wren Gorse has ordered one for the road and then forgotten which road.
23:00Commotion at The Anchor! Wren Gorse and Ewan Callahan came to (very gentle) blows over a heated debate over the last pickled egg.
23:00Sheriff Brody has invited Wren Gorse to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
