Day 4536
Day 4536 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. A quantity of paperwork has appeared on Truman Beaumont's desk. Bev has been briefed to keep him at it. Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town. Hal Brody is not currently speaking to Hattie Whitlow. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Pear Harvest begins. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
