Day 4578
Day 4578 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it. An unclaimed umbrella has been standing by the café door for three days. Opal Ferris's evening happened, ran long, and is still being talked about. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Visitor Is Expected runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
