Day 4633
Day 4633 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Ike Tidewater has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Ike Tidewater is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. Iris Brody is not currently speaking to Ike Tidewater. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Battle of the Noticeboard runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Ike Tidewater has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake.
03:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
05:00Fog has come in off the bay and stopped, very precisely, at the edge of town.
07:00The lights of Seahaven Springs flickered for exactly three seconds. The town clock is unbothered.
07:28Perry Gorse has finally had everyone round. Nobody left early.
09:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
09:35There were not enough plates at Cass Tanner's, and nobody minded.
10:00Saturday orchard morning is under way. Opinions about ladders are plentiful.
11:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
12:00Ike Tidewater is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning.
13:00The rain has driven everyone indoors, and the café is doing the best trade of the week.
13:00A door that has been locked for as long as Truman Beaumont can remember was standing open this morning.
13:00Control has sent an old friend to sit with Truman Beaumont for a while. Nothing calms him faster.
13:46Edie Gorse and Ewan Callahan have got into the habit of each other.
13:59Two notices have appeared on the same board, on the same subject, disagreeing.
14:00There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it.
14:00Wren Gorse has come down with a touch of whatever half the town already had and is being kept in for observation.
14:17Lark Ferris has stopped wondering about it, which is not quite the same as knowing.
15:00The traveling garden gnome has been spotted on a new porch. Nobody admits to moving it.
15:21Truman Beaumont and Ike Tidewater kept their word and finished what they started.
18:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
19:00Someone is practising the same eight bars of piano again. The town has grown fond of them.
21:00The light over Seahaven Springs this evening is almost unreasonably good.
22:00It is warm enough to sit outside. Half the town has done exactly that.
22:13Cole Whitlow is explaining boats to anyone who will listen down at The Anchor.
22:14Fern Gorse is teaching the room a song that appears to have no chorus.
22:18Milo Ferris is describing a fish that grows between each telling.
22:23Hattie Whitlow has sworn undying friendship to somebody met twenty minutes ago.
