Day 4721
Day 4721 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Fern Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake. Iris Brody is not currently speaking to Linus Tidewater. Iris Brody is cooling off in the Sheriff's holding cell after the business at The Anchor. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
OPEN THIS DAY IN THE BROADCASTWhat was announced
00:00Fern Gorse has been released from the Sheriff's office with a stern word and a handshake.
06:00Rain has begun over Seahaven Springs. Umbrellas deployed with suspicious synchronization.
08:00The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions.
10:24Sal Marino has closed the notebook on one small Seahaven mystery, satisfied for now.
12:00It is Wednesday lunch in Founders Park. Benches are being claimed diplomatically.
12:00Somebody has repainted their front door overnight. Opinions are being gathered.
12:13The face is agreed to be somebody passing through. The photograph is framed anyway.
12:13Cass Tanner and Bram Tidewater kept their word and finished what they started.
12:13And so concludes: The Photograph Nobody Can Explain. The town will live with how it ended.
14:00A hedge has been trimmed one inch past a boundary. Diplomacy is under way.
15:00The rain has cleared. A rainbow appeared at a frankly cinematic angle.
16:00The town cat is asleep on the Town Hall steps. Municipal business reroutes around it.
17:00Wilf Tanner noticed the greetings had gone identical and improvised badly but successfully.
18:00The bakery sign flickered and, for a moment, read a different name entirely.
18:00The radio in Truman Beaumont's kitchen has been persuaded to play his favourite song. He is singing along, badly.
18:27Fern Gorse and Alma Callahan have cleared the air over a quiet chat.

19:00A face Truman Beaumont last saw years ago walked by wearing a different coat and a different life.
19:33Ewan Callahan and Linus Tidewater kept their word and finished what they started.
20:00Clouds drift in over the bay. The fishermen pretend not to enjoy it.
20:00A door that has been locked for as long as Truman Beaumont can remember was standing open this morning.
20:17Whatever Dell Tanner and Mabel Tidewater were circling, they have landed on it.
21:54Milo Ferris is teaching the room a song that appears to have no chorus.
22:00The sun breaks through over Seahaven Springs, precisely on cue.
22:05Hattie Whitlow is describing a fish that grows between each telling.
22:06Lark Ferris has explained the tides three times, differently each time.
22:10Iris Brody is explaining boats to anyone who will listen down at The Anchor.
22:15Linus Tidewater has reached the storytelling stage at The Anchor.
23:00Commotion at The Anchor! Linus Tidewater and Iris Brody came to (very gentle) blows over a disagreement over who really caught the biggest fish.
23:00Sheriff Brody has invited Iris Brody to spend the night in the cells. Everyone agrees this is for the best.
