Cole Whitlow and Mabel Tidewater have stopped leaving their friendship to chance. Saturday orchard morning is under way. Opinions about ladders are plentiful. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. What Our Song Actually Is reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman.
