Day 4781
Day 4781 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. The puddle outside the Sunrise Café has returned to its usual dimensions. A heron has taken up position at Miller's Pond and is refusing to be hurried. Milo Ferris is not currently speaking to Bea Callahan. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Shortcut runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
