Day 4831
Day 4831 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. Word has gone round the kitchens: Truman Beaumont is to be given his favourite, and no bill. Linus Tidewater and Bea Callahan no longer need a reason to call round. Silas Tidewater was born to Bram Tidewater and Hattie Whitlow. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Something in the Pond runs into trouble. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
