Day 4882
Day 4882 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. The mackerel are running off Seahaven Point. The dock has acquired a row of buckets and an atmosphere of quiet competition. Hattie Whitlow has thanked every chair in The Anchor for its service. Silas Tidewater was born to Bram Tidewater and Hattie Whitlow. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
