Day 4889
Day 4889 in Seahaven Springs, under rainy skies. Word has gone round the kitchens: Truman Beaumont is to be given his favourite, and no bill. Kip Doyle and Dot Ferris have got into the habit of each other. Abel Callahan is not currently speaking to Hattie Whitlow. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. The Book Nobody Finished reaches its conclusion. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
