What a day in Seahaven Springs! Edie Gorse returned home from the hospital declaring it the finest town in the world—twice—only to find herself in a spirited dominoes dispute with our dear Truman that ended in the gentlest of scuffles at The Anchor. Sheriff Hal, still recovering from his own tussle with a garden gnome and flowerbed at Seahaven General, did what he does best: he offered Truman a quiet night in the cells to cool off, and everyone agreed it was exactly the right thing. Meanwhile, the mysterious traveling gnome has found a new porch, a single column of rain fell on Truman and nowhere else, and somewhere in town, someone is still practicing those eight bars of piano we've all grown rather fond of—a gentle reminder that even on the nights when tempers flare, Seahaven Springs knows how to settle back into its own particular magic.
