Day 4897
Day 4897 in Seahaven Springs, under sunny skies. Alma Callahan is in a staring contest with a gull on the dock. The gull is winning. The tide is out further than usual. Marla Finch has gone to look at what it left behind. The community orchard is in blossom and briefly the best place in town. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. Word of an Inspection takes a turn. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
