Day 4900
Day 4900 in Seahaven Springs, under cloudy skies. There is one more chair at The Anchor than there was yesterday. Rex has not mentioned it. For four seconds Truman Beaumont's radio carried a voice describing exactly where Truman Beaumont was standing. A lighthouse postcard has been added to today's mail. Truman Beaumont collects them, and Control knows it. Nothing bad ever happens here — but something is always going on. A Quiet Week for the Sheriff begins. Goodnight, Truman. In case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.
